How are you guys doing? I'm very fine,thank you. How has the new year being treating you? It has been treating me fine,darlings. I've gotten e-mails from readers with compliments about my instagram,I'm so glad you guys notice the hard work I'm putting into making it a magical feed.
Today's gonna be a Story day,I WENT THRIFTING at the LAGOS MARKET FOR THE FIRST TIME. Although I've thrilled before,never in the Lagos market. MY GOD!,it was like really fun but stressful, lol. It was fun in terms of Cloth Porn. I mean everything you see,you want. It was very nice. BUT! The stressful part is the walking,MY LORD! I coulda dropped y'all,seriously. Aside from that,I had to be conscious of myself,before someone stole me. And I've heard stories you'd be amazed. But all in all it was good. I said I probably wouldn't go back but now I'm not sure.
Btw,I went with my mum,she's my MVP. She can price down,which was a bonus because I'm always hesitant about doing that. We all know Lagos has like the cheapest things but we went like three day after Christmas,so prices were on the upside.
MY BUYS
*I got a Body con gown first,I'd always wanted to get one I finally did.IKR who doesn't have a Body con? Lol #1,000

*Then I got this white top,at first when I held it up,I didn't understand what was up it,like how was I supposed to wear it,but I've figured that out #500

*I got a Denim Skirt,which I've been needing also,I love the wash. #1,800

*Lastly,I got a Belt. #500
So in total that's #3,800 in total. At that period I'd say it is a win,I won't get that where I normally thrift.
TIPS
-GO WITH A LIST!!!!!
I can't over-caps and over emphasize this for you guys.If I didn't take a list,I would've come back with shoes and Lord knows what..Lol..You're on a mission,have a list! Check your wardrobe for what you don't have or just write down what you need or crave for
-Do not! Wear something you'd have to take off when you want to try on something. I basically wore a leggings,camisole and boyfriend jacket,I won't have to take these off if i need to try something on. Thankfully i didnt need to.
Sadly though,I would've gotten a Denim jacket but the wash/colour wasn't what I wanted so it looked BLAH! At that time,only for me to be on my way home and I was wishing I had gotten it.Hmmm
